No. All you need is a username and password and access to the Internet to start using Company Reach.

We are always improving Company Reach. All system upgrades are automatically available to you as soon as they are completed. You will always login to the most current version.

Can I export company information from Company Reach?
Yes, Company Reach offers you the ability to build direct marketing lists that you can export at any time. You will pay separately for each list you build, with pricing dependent upon the size of the list and the product level you subscribe to. Lists can be downloaded directly into programs such as Excel, Outlook, Access, ACT!, and Goldmine.

What if I want multiple people to have access to Company Reach?
If more than one person will be using Company Reach, you will need to purchase additional seats. We can set up a multi-user account that will allow you to manage the usernames and passwords of anyone whom you would like to have access. Additional licenses are available at a reduced price from the base price of your product.

Can I use Company Reach like a CRM?
Company Reach is an online look-up and information tool, not a CRM. Company Reach provides valuable company information and can provide company and industry knowledge, but does not perform the functions of a CRM.

What are the technical requirements for Company Reach?

Minimum hardware requirements:
• 32 MB RAM
• 800 x 600 SVGA display
• Mouse or other compatible pointing device

Software requirements:
• Internet Explorer v. 5.0 or higher or Netscape Navigator v. 6.0 or higher on Windows
• Internet Explorer version 5 or Netscape version 7 or higher on Macintosh

What is the difference between Company Reach and traditional directories?
Because Company Reach is an online product, it is accessible anytime and anywhere there is an Internet connection. Moreover, Company Reach allows you to locate companies much more quickly and accurately with up to 11 different search fields. The company profiles in Company Reach are also more extensive than those provided in Harris print directories. Additional fields include NAICS codes, web addresses, product categories, Harris industry classifications, and stock ticker symbols.

What is the difference between Company Reach and Selectory database products?
Company Reach is an advanced online company lookup service. It provides a more complete view of companies by augmenting Harris profiles with industry information and corporate family trees. Selectory databases are better suited for those looking to do frequent searching, sorting and downloading high quality prospecting lists at their convenience.

Do you provide contact e-mail addresses in your full profiles?
We do not compile personal e-mail addresses, but we do compile company web addresses.

Can I use Harris Data to conduct broadcast faxes?
It is a violation of both federal and state law to transmit an unsolicited advertisement to a fax machine. Anyone violating such laws may be subject to civil and criminal penalties that may exceed $500 for each transmission of an unsolicited fax. Harris InfoSource provides business information for lawful purposes and expressly forbids the use of its business information in any unlawful manner.

Is Company Reach available only online?
Yes. Because Company Reach is constantly updated and because it relies on links among different sources of information -- profiles and industry details -- it is only available online.

Is Company Reach only available as a national database?
Yes. Company Reach is the most affordable national database of company profiles available. However, you can broaden or tighten the scope of Company Reach to cover anything from the entire nation to a single state as needed. By changing the Default Geography within the product, Company Reach can be made to act like a single state directory, a customized regional directory, or a national directory. Replace an entire shelf of books with a single online product.

Can I upgrade Company Reach while in the middle of my subscription term?
Yes. Use the "upgrade" link in Company Reach to see options for increased content. You can also upgrade by calling customer service. Any upgrades purchased in the middle of a subscription term will have a pro-rated cost to ensure that you only pay for access that you can use.

Can I get my money back if I do not like Company Reach?
Annual subscriptions must be cancelled within 30 days of purchase to be eligible for return.
